Why clients keep coming back

The small things, done consistently

You get the same barber

Book with a name, not a rota. They remember your grade, your parting and your last holiday.

Nobody is rushed out

Appointments are spaced with breathing room, so a proper consultation doesn't eat into the cut.

Honest advice, always

If a style won't work with your hair, we'll say so and suggest something that will.

A shop you can relax in

Good light, plants, decent coffee and no pressure to chat if you'd rather sit quietly.

Beard care tips

Four things that make a beard behave

  1. 1Wash it, don't scrub itBeard shampoo twice a week is plenty. Daily hot showers strip the oils and that's what causes the itch.
  2. 2Oil while it's dampThree or four drops straight after towel drying. It absorbs properly instead of sitting on top.
  3. 3Brush downwards, then shapeA boar bristle brush trains the direction of growth and makes the patchy weeks look far tidier.
  4. 4Ride out weeks three to sixEveryone hates their beard around week four. Come in for a tidy of the neckline instead of shaving it off.

Everything we use is salon-grade and cruelty free, and it's all available at the counter.

Best fade I've had, and the first barber who actually asked what I do with my hair in the morning.

James

Regular since the shop opened · Skin Fade

Went in with a mop and came out with a crop that takes ten seconds. Coffee's genuinely good too.

Ollie

Student regular · Restyle

They're brilliant with my six-year-old. No fuss, no bribery required, and he actually likes going now.

FAQs

Good to know before you come in

Do I need to book or can I walk in?

Both work. Walk-ins are welcome whenever there's a free chair, but booking ahead guarantees your barber and time slot — especially on Saturdays.

How do I know which cut to ask for?

You don't have to. Bring a photo or just tell us how much time you want to spend styling it in the morning, and we'll take it from there.

Do you cut children's hair?

Yes — under-12s have their own service, booster seat and a tablet. Quieter times are usually weekday mornings.

Is there a student discount?

Yes. Show a valid student ID for 15% off any service, Monday to Thursday.

What products do you use?

Salon-grade clays, sea salt sprays, beard oils and balms, all cruelty free. Anything used on your hair can be bought at the counter.

Where can I park?

There's a short-stay car park a two-minute walk away, plus free on-street parking after 6pm and all day Sunday.

Ready when you are

Fancy a fresh cut and a decent coffee?

Book a chair, or just wander in — there's usually room on a weekday morning.
